Amy Robertson M.D.
Dr. Amy Robertson is a board-certified ophthalmologist. Dr. Robertson received a B.A. in Biology from The University of Colorado in Boulder (1982-1986), and a medical degree from The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (1989-1993). She completed her internship year here in Austin at Brackenridge Hospital (1993-1994) where she met her husband, Dr. Steve Robertson. Following residency training at the respected Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Dr Robertson and her growing family chose to make their home in Austin.
In the years since residency, Dr. Robertson has successfully balanced motherhood with a part-time career in ophthalmology. She has worked for several practices in the Austin-San Marcos area, and is very pleased to now be associated with the Hill Country Eye Center.
Dr. Robertson is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a past president of the Austin Ophthalmologic Society. She is an avid gardener and reader, and enjoys sailing with her husband and their two daughters, Bryn and Arden.
